DomainTools analysts have recently spotted a new residential proxy market which is dubbed “BlackProxies” that is aggressively gaining huge popularity among the following entities:-

• Hackers
• Cybercriminals
• Phishers
• Scalpers
• Scammers

During the investigation of the market in question, it was discovered that the market is providing and selling access to more than one million purported proxy IP addresses across the world.

There is no doubt that the creation of a new entity that has an extremely significant number of proxy candidates is a very significant move. There have been a lot of large proxy providers that have been shut down in the past couple of years by law enforcement agencies and this also includes big names like:-

Proxy Networks

A proxy server is an online server that accepts and forwards requests for different devices on the Internet on behalf of the proxy server.

An investigation by DomainTools revealed that an IP address used in the infrastructure for the service had previously been associated with other suspicious marketing and activities.

There has been a rapid rise in popularity among threat actors in the BlackProxies service, even though the platform claims that it strictly prohibits the use of its services for illegal and malicious activities.

However, once these types of networks manage to create their own giant network they will start receiving several lucrative illicit offerings, as a result, they turn into criminal firms.
